The founder, a senior engineer with over 15 years of experience in the passive component industry, identified a market gap for high-precision, quick-turnaround resistor solutions in Southeast Asia. The concept of "Ohm Resistor" was born in Singapore.
Ohm Resistor Pte. Ltd. was officially registered in Singapore as a private shadow company. The initial team of 5 core members completed the supply chain audit and set up the first quality-control laboratory in Jurong.
The brand "Ohm Resistor" was publicly launched. The first batch of precision thin-film chip resistors and current-sensing resistors passed industry-standard reliability tests (AEC-Q200 compliant). The company officially entered the industrial power supply and automotive aftermarket segments.
Rapidly expanded customer base across Singapore, Malaysia, and Southern China. Positioned as a "flexible-response resistor partner" for small-to-medium EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) factories. The product portfolio now covers over 200 standard values with a lead time 30% shorter than industry average.
